im looking for a parallel port to USV converter coz my sister is going to use a dot matrix printer for stencil paper. does such converter exsist? where can i buy one?

ahak ning HP 1100A lahi ang port sa printer side, its the similar to the old IEE1284 pero they made the port smaller

HUH!? Are you saying he's got a USB dot matrix printer that he want's to connect it to an LPT port on the PC? Is the PC really that old nga walay USB port? Or are you saying nga he used up all his USB ports on his PC so wala na siyay ka kabutangan sa USB dot matrix printer?

Reading Earlz ports, I thought the dot matrix printer is the old Parallel type but he can't use the LPT port sa PC nya coz he's got an HP Laserjet 1100A connected to that already. So he want's to connect the dot matrix printer instead a USB port. If this is the case, the device I suggested from my previous post is the one he needs.

that got me thinking. since it is a dot matrix printer.. then it must be using the old parallel port interface.. so then you might be right my bad hehe. paki clarify lang po Earlz. ano ba talaga kuya?
