    I dont see any problem with it let them be what they want to be ... Kay para sa akoa let these starters experience whats the real world out there. The best thing we could do is guide them or at least give advice.

    Clearly you have no Idea what being a programmer is.

    Clearly you have no Idea what being a programmer is. Especially since you have no clue that companies abroad will only accept foreign programers that have already experience >_> Dili ni being a callboy or nurse or maid we're talking about. >_>_

    let us put it this way ... I wasted my 4 years in college just to end up as a call center agent? And you call that practical and truthful.

    Obviously coz you dont know what era it is
    In this time, programmers now are a dime a dozen. Not to mention the global economy crisis. And most firms would rather recruit people from their own nation >_>

    True, true... One way to deal with this is to expand and improve your skills. Arming yourself with skills that aren't taught in school (i.e., Unix) can make you "useful" in this time of global crisis...

    Share ko lang din, right before I graduate I got chance to worked in Keppel, and to let you know, I met different kinds of people, and yes! There are 10, 15 or even 30 years of service on that company but never had a chance to work abroad…

    As fresh grad, I didn’t hesitate to look a better job local and international… and I bite hundreds of times those terms like “experience muna…”, “masyado ka naman demanding bago ka pa nga lang…” anyway, to make it short, after exactly 1 year and due to GOD’s will na din… I landed a better and brighter job; makes those people drop their tongue, which nothing else did but to discourages those entry-level workers.

    Fresh Grad or experienced doesn’t count for me… (Well, at least in my experience duh!) As long as you have the RIGHT EDUCATION + SKILLS (global competitive) + ATTITUTE, you’re safe then…

    @BadDudes / @DeathFox

    WE know you have different opinions. Anywayz, I agree with you both. I already experienced both of your ideas but not in exact manner. It took me time to realize what is right and what is wrong. Until now I still have issues with my lifestyle and some education issues in myself.... my career is ok, no problem so far.

    Everybody has chances, new graduates needs some chance and realized it by themselves / witness it by themselves they haven't learned from their Schools.

    Our knowledge starts from school, Great learning comes from Experience.
    *Let them realize that there is "more" beyond the barriers of their schools.
    *Let them discover that they can learn new things beyond their books.
    *Let them experience the true nature of this BUSINESS and to do what is right in the next step.

    Regarding abroad, I can say that experience and knowledge counts, not graduation.
