Having thoughts about upgrading the VGA on this laptop. Any suggestions? I guess the onboard integrated VGA is able to run online games, but only to the mid settings extent. It would also benefit other C700 owners if you would aid us determine how to upgrade this laptop.

Others would debate that the onboard integrated VGA doesn't allow for upgrades.
Still others would suggest to upgrade according to the specifications posted by HP and the VGA manufacturers.

Intel® Celeron® M 1.8GHz
1GB RAM, 80GB HDD S/ATA
Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100

Is it necessary to upgrade the VGA? Or do I stick to upgrading the RAM to 2GB?

if vga card is hard soldered or is part of the motherboard, then YOU CANNOT upgrade....

I saw laptops that allows upgrade of video card, naa ni sya slot for the mobile vga card itself.

if you don't have this slot, thats the farthest your laptop can have IMO.
