e398 video gremlins

i'm having trouble playing videos on my Motorola E398, i drag n drop the files, i've tried mgp & mpeg files, but the phone says the video folder is empty but when i go to check on the memory card's status it's filled up with the video's size, whats' wrong?, is there something i'm doing wrong?, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am thinking that the type of file you are using is not compatible with the phone. Have tried to check my
phone (RokR) e398 upgraded to Rokr and the extension is 3GP. At the very least, use Motorola phone tools (MPT)
provided with package and use it to store video in your phone.

the phone supports only mp4 and 3pg file formats bro, you could try converting them. hey! have you flashed your phone yet?

mp4 & 3gp were only know so far for e398 to play!... just try to convert them to either of these formats...
