that's not what i'm trying to imply. mas maayo man gud siya ang mag compose para ma familiarize, how will you learn if everything is shoved right in your face?

the answers are out there, all you need to do is find them. you can ask someone for help but not ask for the answer.

well, u could have had just give him hints, not telling him to find answers on his own, like say...

    Procie: Intel E7xxx series
    Mobo: blah blah
    Vcard: blah blah

    etc.. etc...

no offense, but i too find your answers quite offensive. sorry...

    Off-Topic:

i strongly beleive that you should exhaust all your resources first before seeking the help of others. ganahan man ko motabang if i see that the person is helping himself. try to show you did all your best in coming up with something rather than asking right away how and what.

    let's put it this way:

"give a man a fish and he'll live for a day, TEACH a man to fish and he'll live for the rest of his life".

now, to put this in this scenario, if the TS or someone posted something and asks for opinion with regards to the spec, we could've provide specifications and reasons ngano. Pero if imo lang tagaan ug specs diretso, it would be the end of the discussion and sometime in the future, same questions rasad ang i-ask which is exactly why this forum is flooded with the subject line "need help, need your opinion, what do you think" na mga subject line.

in another perspective, if the thread starts with, "give me something, i need this," and you give your answers, it would be the end of the discussion otherwise if you start with what do you think of this and then reason -- it would promote serious discussion not just one-liners like yay, nice, cool, bitaw and the likes. that's not conversation for me and that's not what makes a forum.

mga master, tagai ko sa right specs for gaming.. my uncle wants to build his own pc...
ang budget sa akong uncle is 20k or more basta d molapas sa 25k mas better if less than pa gani..
    hope you can help me...
    thanks...
Try to look at this post...Naa na ang budget diha..
Not everybody knows about motherboard, processor and etc
What if accountant na siya.... A simple spec tapos imo pa suphon...
Tungod sa ka expert nimo di naka mo tubag og simple na pangutana..
Dili tanan tao inclined about Computer hardware...

wala man ko ni-ingon nga expert ko, i'm just another guy who's enthusiastic about computers. for someone who's interested or plans to buy a computer, first thing i would do is get pricelists or packages na gipang offer sa mga stores then ask for opinions unsa pwede usbon. THAT, i beleive is the right approach.

kung naa na offend sa akong pagka-sarcastic and to the TS, i'm sorry i didn't mean it pero people need to learn what to do.

in line with this thread, can we make a sticky topic for people asking specifications sa computer para kung naa masaag, ma merge lang ngadto. and then mausa rana sila tanan.

    @nonentity44:

i would recommend silverstone st50f pero its not cheap but as far as product and after-sales service is concerned, sulit. if its too expensive for your taste, most people would go for HEC, its still nice although i don't know if aftersales service is as good as the silverstone - it counts too if you think about it. seagate is fine just make sure that your barracuda isn't part of the affected models. change your 8500GT, there are much better cards like the ATI 4670 ba to...
