Buy aapl at 1% thru options? I'd rather not, its too speculative... I'm much more inclined to go long on my positions.....
Thank you very much though.
Yes i am There are various online brokers available, they have much lower rates than actual brokers, although some may require you to have a valid US SSN to open an account. If your non-US, like me, you can try E-trade.com (https://global.etrade.com/e/t/intl/p...=en&country=gl). But you will prolly need some paper work to avoid double taxation.
The No.1 Investment Mistake You Do on or before 2009 is investing in the wrong company labi na sa mga scam
Its a common misconception that options is too speculative ... Option trading is still based on stocks movement. There's really no difference between stocks trading speculation and option trading speculation. The only difference is, instead of buying the stocks you're only "renting" it.
In fact, stock trading is more speculative than option trading to a degree. The reason for this is that with option trading, since you are only renting you can buy more shares with minimal exposure.
A lot of US stock traders are actually using option trading to hedge their stock investments.

I'm sorry i still remain on my stand. For me options are investing into stocks or rather into buy/sell contracts of stocks which you think will rise or fall in given span time, which In my opinion is speculation . I on the other hand would prefer to buy stocks based on a company's long-term outlook, and not based on how i think the market will react to various events. Lets put it this way, even if i think the outlook of the US is grim for the next 3-5 years, I see companies that currently are way undervalued even when their cash flow is top notch, their earnings haven't gone down that much and their management is superb. Its just that its stock price is down because of the market's current bleak outlook. I may not be sure when it will ultimately return to its fair valuation, but what I'm sure of is; that its price will return to its proper value. This is how one of the world's most successful investor made his fortune, and i think its best and simplest way of investing for me.
