New HDD contains Evaluation Copy of XP

Is this normal?

After i installed all components i bought from PC Ex* i was ready to format the system.
After configuring the BIOS settings the PC was ready for formatting.
When i arrived at the page where you have to chose which disk to install XP, the selection shows that there is already an OS installed there. So to find out, i reboot the system without continuing the format and waited for windows to load.

It loaded up to the log on screen with an account named utaku, but the evaluation has expired.

My question:

Is this normal? I mean do they really format their fresh drives there or does this mean that THIS IS A RETURNED HDD?

hala, I think that is a returned HDD. Its so impossiblle! Check for bad sectors.

Returned HD, defective siguro. Pero ayaw e format basin naa kay ma kuha diha sa sulod sa HD hehehehe, im sure di na siguro maka sulod sa OS kay dili man pariho ang specs sa pc, try to partition the HD then adto lang e butang imong new OS.

Other reason why other people buying old HD, bisan formated na HD, pwedi nila ma restore, and your important documents or any medias ma kuha dyud nila. Bisan pa mga secret nimo ma ukay nila. Naa gani to kaso about ani sa internet pero ka limot lang dyud ko. Dilikado dyud kau na basta imong HD e baligya. Mas ma ayo e Zero Fill dyud na before nimo e baligya.

still, its not brand new.. if u paid for a brand new price, take it paingon sa stor ug ilaparo sa nawong sa technician naghatag nimo, hehehe...
