I was never curious about this movie. I said, boy, that's one long movie title! I got bored one night, went to the mall with my husband and thought, hey, let's watch this Benjamin Button guy. I had an idea that he was born odd. But that's just it.

So there we were, for three long hours, we sat and curiously watched it. It felt like I was watching Forrest Gump but the story was different. It was darker and sadder. But yeah, there were happy moments,too. As what the line of the story goes --Life is not measured in minutes but by moments (or something like that).

In technical aspect, it was superb. You know that CGs and heavy makeup were used but you barely notice the transition. For the lack of better term, it was just Uaaahmazing. The actors did their part very well, too. I love that Mama Queenie character. Makes me feel she was my mum.

I'm a sucker for good dialogue/script. This movie has it. And to point some:
Your life is defined by its opportunities... even the ones you miss.

For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.

We're meant to lose the people we love. How else would we know how important they are to us?

You can be as mad as a mad dog at the way things went. You could wear, curse the fates, but when it comes to the end, you have to let go.

So yeah, that sums it up.

I say whoever hates this movie probably had a real bad childhood and can't appreciate good things.
