I'm tasked to find a brandnew laptop for my cousin...i'm still confused on what to find for him. I know, it'll be a low-end laptop but i want your opinion guys on what laptop to buy for him. I've selected some choices below...you can post your suggestions if you like...
He'll use it for a lil bit of 3d rendering, presentations and mostly Cad drawings and rendering...So, i think the thing that would matter to him the most would be the video chipset + processor...

Guys, i did some research myself and i found out that the HD3200 is somewhat better than the intel counterparts...so, i'm considering the

go to octagon, look for a compaq nga x2 2.1Ghz ang processor, 250gb HDD, wifi, dvd multi ug redaon 3200 ang gfx. price is 27+++. im supposed to buy it yesterday but it just doesnt support xp, vista ra.
ka play nka games ani, dugangan lng nimo ug 1gb imo ram...
edited: sorry, that is exactly what i am to buy yesterday, exactly the model but i think that one was a 250gb, not 160gb...

thats wrong idea, because he will be doing such its the RAM and the CPU and the HDD that will matter, GPU plays a very small role and probably negligible. so dont worry about the GPU. the GPU is just for getting the LCD to work and the ATI 3200 is fine, but i suggest you look for the strongest and most affordable processors. kusog man bay.. more specially sa games kay 256mb man ang video card tapos hanggang 64 ang pwd mo mashare sa video..

Go for Compaq. I would chose Compaq rather than Acer or MSI.

me too compaq better choice for me..my 2 uncles are using dis..Compaq Presario CQ40-108TU..so far ok man kaau no probs
