=) That crawling dragon scene is only in the movie version. It was a lot different in the book. ^^ In the book, the Hungarian Horntail never got loose from its chain.

I'm just neutral on what they did with the dragon in the movie, but I definitely like what they did with the underwater task. =) As for the final task... hmm... I wanted to see the spinx... Guess I feel kinda disappointed with the final task.

weel guys i saw the movie and i am sadly disappointed...it still shows the week harry potter..he hasn't improved in using magic or potions or any kind of enchantments..he is still a very week and scared little as he was before...tsk.tsk.tsk.sad to say the harry potter series only appeals to children who are not that in to fantasy stories.one of my biggest disappointments was the elf dubby (is the spelling right?).elves are suppose to be magnificent and beautiful beings.elves in harry potter look more like imps or rats than an elf! .hey im a big fan or rpg games and their are more games with better storylines that harry potter.ha! i just don't get it..why are so many people liked the goblet of fire....their is nothing special about harry potter but just an over rated little runt! he could'nt even use magic to fix his own hair! ha! how embarassing!

ok..still the way the story moves about its main character is just way too dragging...every installment talks about something else and doesn't totally focus on the main characters improvement..he is still as weak as he was when he was just an ordinary boy..in the goblet of fire..how many times did we see him use is wand? hmmmm? its a story about magic ang witchcraft but all we see are dragons, using herbs and the use of magic the same way michky mouse would use it in fantasia. we don't see much magic being used in battles ad that's what i want to see..a little light here a little flash there..nothing impresive..my personal opinion is harry potter is way too over rated...we see people riding brooms? where is the appeal in that? weak main characters + stupid bad guys = poor story line...well, the graphics and the sfx was impressive not as impressive as star wars but still its impressive...the creature and environment design was nice but not impressive..

i personally think the book wasn't created to cater to the cynic, overthinkers of our age. as far as i can remember, rowling initially made the story up for the young and the young at heart who clings to the notion that good triumphs over evil no matter how inept the involved person is.

HP's vulnerability is what makes him tick. i am not a professed HP fanatic, but when u try to look at the story as harry potter & the goblet of fire as itself and not in reference to whatever ultra-fantastic, almost real fantasy story u avidly follow; u might just be able to appreciate how the characters were made for the speific roles they are supposed to play.

    peace!
