Cos last friday, Sep 30, their broadband was down.. After successfully connecting to the internet via dial-up (just to test if the prob is on my side), I called their 24-hour hotline at 10pm to check if their was a prob with my account or the settings with my router. We reconfigured the router, but unfortunately it didn't work out. I called again and they said that the reason it was down was that a couple of cabinets in Cebu were experiencing errors and some tech probs, and I belong to one of those cabinets. They promised to take care of it asap, and assured that they will have a field technician calll me up for updates. 20 minutes later a tech called me up to explain and apologize for the incovenience.. And the next day (Saturday) another tech called me again to report about the progress.. and also early this morning (Sunday)..
I went out and came back at aroung 630pm..... and it's fixed.
I like the fact that they personally call you up to apologize and explain the issues. And also the fact that they give you updates and reports on the progress. That's good product support for me.
yeah ana jud ang globe specially if you email them complaining about something.. the big guys are the top would have the people in Cebu go down and give you updates the soonest possible time.
it happened to me when I availed of the promo Unlimited Express Unlimited promo.
so which is better for 20PCs? Globe DSL or PLDT? pila day Bayantel?
gtboy, can you clarify on how much you paid up front when you signed up? Is it really a 1 year contract?
Oh and by the way, can you also test your bandwidth here? http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest <- use the Los Angeles server.
