Manny Pacquiao to star in a movie with Sylvester Stallone

Boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao reportedly met with Hollywood action star, Sylvester Stallone last January 6 at the latter’s Los Angeles office.

They talked about the movie being planned by Stallone, which is not a boxing movie but something like “Rush Hour” (a Jacky Chan-Chris Tucker hit) type of film according to Pacquiao’s business manager Erik Pineda.

“Everything is in the planning stage but what’s certain is that Sylvester Stallone wants Manny Pacquiao in the movie as one of the co-stars” said Pineda.

Pacquiao is set to face Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton on May 2 in Las Vegas and will soon begin his training on March 1.

Is Manny's acting really that up to scratch?

Even if this thing is for real then trying to do a Rush Hour movie would be a disaster (that series wasn't even that funny). They really would be better off doing another Rocky film... only this time Stallone's character is no longer trying to go back in the ring. The story instead should focus on how Rocky (on a trip to Asia) stumbles upon a boxer (Manny's character) winning local fights just to make ends meet. Rocky sees potential on him so decides to take him to America and train him under his wing. Against all odds, Manny's character in the ends wins the word title.

It would be the ultimate movie of an underdog again just like the first one. What do you guys think? And ohhh, the title should be something like 'Rocky Road' or 'Rocky VII - The PacMan Chronicles'.
