Bro, I think Housekeeping is 5'S in industrial terms.

5'S = Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.

Mga hapon ang nagpauso ani bro, pag human sa WW II.
Due to the pandemonium brought as the aftermath of the War,
Our Japanese brothers set housekeeping standards so that they can bring everything back in order again ---> 5'S

Imagine the chaos and the topsy-turvyness that they had to overcome having been bombarded with two A-Bombs by the Americans.
So by using 5'S, they managed to turn things upside-down, inside-out....
So effective gyud diay ning 5'S, mao tong nidecide ang mga big companies to integrate 5'S sa ilang company standards....

So if you are applying for a certain job position in a reputable company, a little knowledge about 5'S may be a plus for you.

some of your prospects ani for abroad would be hotels, cruise ships, and even commercial ships. you can gain training/experience by working in local hotels in the country where one major department is the housekeeping department that takes care of the hotel rooms cleaning, laundry, linen, etc.

^and if one wants bigger responsibilities and higher compensation, one can aim for higher positions like Housekeeping Supervisor, Executive Housekeeper, and Housekeeping Department Director

housekeeping is not an easy job. pero dili sad limited ang promotion because it depends on your skilss and ability.. you can be a hotel manager someday.. I know someone

Bro, I think the "6s" that you are talking about here is Six Sigma.
It is not related to 5'S because this is a totally whole new ball game.

6s is the systematic approach in eradicating, if not minimizing waste/scrap generation in mfg. processes.

Bro, I suggest you elaborate on what kind of job you are targeting because as I see it, if you are applying for hotel jobs, then skills such as 5'S and 6s are not that useful.

Unless you are an engineer applying for manufacturing.
