Kana pics nimo are the ordinary parakeets or lovebirds. Mao na ako gi breed sa una. They are smaller in size, unlike English Budgies which are much bigger. But EB's though have the same features as with the ordinary keets. Ang budgiekeet, I suppose mao na offsprings sa EB and the ordinary parakeets if imo i breed. Sakto ba jmpal sir? hehe BTW, kumusta naman imo mga ALBS dinha ronfer sir? Happy birding.

Mao ba bro? Sayanga oi. Abi nako nalingaw naka sa mga albs. But kung mag focus naka as finches ok lang sad. Kung saan ka masaya, suportahan ta ka. Btaw bro, plan pud ko breed ug finches. If anha ko Cebu mangita ko diha puhon. Naa nako gi pang inquire regarding nila. Kana imo java sparrow naka breed naka ana? Idlas bitaw na kaau. If na breed nimo then good breeder diay ka. And also sa imo mga zebra finches pud. BTW, about the sound of the albs, you'll get used to it. So hope you won't give up on it. Happy birding.

@ronfer & janmarco: a budgiekeet is the offspring of an English Budgie breed with parakeets (aka lovebirds as widely known but i hope macorrected na ang mga pangalan with this thread) although in bird shows a budgiekeet size becomes a fault, some breeders however do this from time to time to increase the sizes of our parakeets. ronfer, what you think is best for you to breed stick to it, if gusto nimo finches then do it kay naa baya pud advantages with finches, lower maintenance and smaller space requiurement.
