To answer your question, well, its because, it God's words, same thing when Jesus teaches his apostles, he gives a lot of parables. Bible is being studied by Bible scholars and they did some interpretations and translation to several languages. Meaning, in fact our recent Bible now is more understandable compared to previous versions, not counting the versions already created by the King James. Just like in Revelations, it shows a lot of symbolic terms, signs of the second coming of Jesus. But if you are a constant reader of the bible, there are lots of verses that explains these symbolic terms. Anyway, we maybe out of topic then if I discuss this further. Cheers!
