people believe in the afterlife because it is useful. it is a coping mechanism for people who just can't accept the reality of their mortality.

EDIT: God promised us that once we are in heaven, there will be an eternal happiness so i don't mind being a mindless being as long as I'm happy.

another thought of the afterlife:

what if your partner(husband or wife) died and you were remarried (or remarried again after remarried coz your 2nd partner died too)... does that mean you have 2 or more partners in heaven?

1.) as a christian, satan is real since its in the bible.
2.) my grandmother saw a shadow of a devil kneeling beside her when she was praying in Cathedral Parish Church.

the way she describe it, my family and my relatives believe that it was a devil. she was the only person in the pew where she kneeled and she saw 2 shadows reflected on the floor. hers and the other has horns and tails.

horny devils?? were there ever any existing proofs for such? picture man lang...ay pod nang movie posters.

what if: you are in HEAVEN(as what your holy books sez), a happy-happy-happy place. what happens if ALL your loved ones are on the otherside, barbekyu party...does it still count as a HAPPY place?

para nako naa possibilty maka sin ang mga souls to heaven tungod sa knowledge/experience of "evil"/"temptations" when they were here on earth. but i would guess God will provide us with peace and protect us from those temptations....

question pud, kung balihon... those souls who went to hell.. if ever naabot ang time na naka repent na jud sila sa ila gi buhat while they were here on earth, will there be a possibility na makasulod sila sa heaven?
