Well, if you're in a "corporate environment" you would just say "I have some urgent personal business to attend to" and then file a leave or something then that would be the end of it.

But if you're in one of those "inato" nga companies... well... I guess you have to make up all sorts of excuses. But I'd say just tell the truth even if it's not "valid" from your point of view. Everybody has one of those days that nothing ever goes right.
