Default Do You Have ALbums Burned in CD-R?

i buy a lot of original Cds ad now i got around 600+ original Cds in my wall but not all my favorite music are available in original Cds here. I've been to music one, fully booked, MV Doulos, and just about anywhere looking for some gems. And i found a lot, mostly on sale. They have no idea how valuable Marah and Mewithoutyou and Chris Thile to put them on sale.. hahaha

But there are alot of albums i cannot even find in amazon or if i find them, they're too expensive. So those albums that are out of reach, i burned them on Cd-R or create a mixtape on CD-R.

I got 3 120-capacity CD wallet full of obscure albums and mixdisc.

How about you, do you have any CD-R as part of your collection?

And of of coarse all my demo cds are on CD-R hehehe

i compiled all my CDs by artists or genre and burn it on CD-Rs to keep my CDs from being damaged and i dont have to change CDs everytime its done playing... compile pud ko og mga tukar nga ako ganahan but not necessarily the whole album, more like a mixtape of sorts..

I have this terrible habit of backing up...I have 2 HDs backing up all my Original CDs aside CD/DVD back ups.

Usually, a CD/DVD back up should be enough. The safest is to rip them to .flac format in your hard drive just in case you lose the original CDs. Backing up in .flac, IMO, does better audio-quality retention when ripping CDs
