cruising on neutral can indeed lessen gas consumption BUT is your life worth just centavos?
yw lng kompyansa anang ingana bos..
its for the safety of yourself and others
i always do it on my manual auv.. okay raman sad basta be sure na you have enough distance from the vehicle ahead of you.. other than it saves gas, mura'g mas smooth sad para nako ang akong ride.. but like others it's not advisable on downhill..
ako sa happy valley going downhill mag neutral ko, i've been doing it for years mo brake ra man.
With newer EFI engines, you actually use no gas when you cruise in gear providing your engine rpms are higher than 1500rpm, if it drops below a certain range (1500rpm in mine, depends on your manufacturer) the injectors automatically kicks in so that your engine doesn't stall. This makes cruising DOWNHILL use virtually 0 gas (like from tops back to JY)
But yeah, keep it in gear... the car loses balance when you go neutral. It's better to be safe than save a few centavos in fuel.
yes ganahan ko mag neutral usahay ug downhills but careful lang jud ta..save man gud ug gas kaau
sa katong nag-ask if ok ra sa automatic eneutral nya gadagan ghapon ang sakyanan... . madaot daw ang transmission... mau ni ako nabasahan didto sa tsikot... daghan sila thread about ana..
