EON is not free, there is a P350 annual fee. 2 valid ID's as a requirement. I get mine 5 working days after applying plus 48 hrs activation.

Not correct. The annual fee is not for the EON card, but for Visa itself, thats the VISA fee everybody pay for any kind of visa card (credit or debit).

EON itself IS free, and no minimum balance is needed to maintain the account.

There is a small difference, online is still written "EON Visa Electron", its not anymore electron, but an EON Visa Debit Card.
