any miniature painters here?

i'm into repainting and modifying Mage Knight Figures and Warmachine figures. i play those too.

what do you usally use for paint? acrylic or enamel?

i prefer to use acrylics on my miniatures. citadel paint or tamiya paint have yielded good results so far.

depends on what type of miniatures you're painting. in my hobby, i paint figures ranging from 3cm to 5cm. i use a #1 brush for most jobs and have smaller brushes (#0 or smaller for detailed work). acrylics are my paints of choice. Tamiya is good because they are formulated for plastic and metal.

other supplies are a palette, containers for water, clean rags, spray varnish as a fixative so your work does not rub off (i prefer a matte varnish but i haven't found any here in cebu), primer (so your paint sticks better)

for metal figures, you need small files to remove unwanted mold lines before you start painting your figire.

the above supplies are not the absolute list but they work for me. :mrgreen:
