For Dial-up: which modem is faster external or internal?

im planning to buy 1.. please help..

On dial-up akong sister-in-law, gamit sila og externel modem kay they heard that it's better. Wala man koy nakitan nga significant difference, Vibe gud ilang gamit unya naa ra sila sa Mabolo Area duol sa PLDT didto....

it's just same as long as Â*it can support up to 56kbps. I prefer to choose external modem coz it gets from the source AC unlike internal modem, they gets from your PSU and more CPU utilization & processing will getting higher too...

internal is much cheaper!! for speed both internal and external are the same...

I still have my old internal (mga more than 3 years) and okay pa man siya. I still have it since I sometimes use it for faxing...

Mao sad, pero not all external modems have Linux drivers developed... Imo pang kailangan i-google to see if a particular model has drivers under Linux...
