    Question Appreciation from Parents

    is it important?...

IMO, it is...some would say you shouldn't ask anything in return when you do something for your parents pero a little appreciation would be fine...it's one way man gud na maka pa motivate sa usa ka taw...my mom doesn't believe in this...it sucks you know...sometimes i felt like i did everything right but my mom always finds this loophole para naa jd ma ika sulti...just a lil appreciation..just a lil... :-/

    yes its important...

uhmm... kakalungkot kaya yung hindi naappreciate ginagawa mo. kung kasama mo parents mo sa iisang house mas lalong nakakalungkot. eh yung akin nga eh, pag may program or awarding wala naman parents ko dun so hindi nila maappreciate...

    ganun lang talaga... ang life...

    yes IMHO its very important..

a childs brain is like sponge.. appreciations will greatly affect the childs morale and confidence. it is very depressing for the child if all his hard work will not be appreciated. makes him think he's useless and can't do things good.

for me it isn't important and it doesn't matter. if they appreciate me then its great, if not then nothings gonna change anyway. i'd still be doing the best i can to be a good child whether appreciated or not doesn't matter.

but of course it's important. it's rather sad when parents don't know how to give that. what adult children can do is parent themselves. give to yourself what your parents can't.

^^ OT: tinuod gyud to ang katong thread nga ngka.gwapa kah sis. ayeei. hahaha.

on topic: maybe your mom's not comfortable or doesn't know how to show her appreciation to you. i'm sure she's very proud of you and mao nang mka.ingon xa nga "di na kelangan ana" kai it goes with it ngyud nga gi.appreciate gyud kah niya. know in your heart lang sis nga she does appreciate you.
