For sometime now, I kept my monitor as it is. This means that I have not calibrated it but somehow when I have my pix printed by a lab, the colors on my monitor and the colors of the lab are almost the same.

Now that I calibrated my monitor, i checked my prints and the difference is quite obvious. Do you guys experience the same thing or is it just me and my monitor?

In support of idol Benjie's recommendation, I think we should start doing "themed" threads / shoots... e.i. for this week, "Macro" :P... I hope that gives you guys the idea.

Shutter, you can easily clean it using a lens cloth or a Lens Pen...

Kung Macro ang topic nato,,, Master Beor ang inspiration.... exceptional iya mga kuha.

Shutter, ipa service imong cam.. then ang previous shots nmu, work out with the software to remove the dot.

shutter, there are directions in the manual on how to clean the sensor (if the dirt is on the sensor)... but first, check your lens thoroughly.

pareng shutter, that's sensor dust. do a mirror lockup and try removing the dust using a blower. if it's still under warranty, have the sensor cleaned sa warranty provider or if you have sensor swabs, you can do it yourself

@shutter - yeah, it looks like sensor dust...nice shot of the banca, though i suggest you sharpen it a bit cuz it seems to be kinda soft...but then again, it could just be my monitor...

btw...where were you're shots taken?
