Sori, I didn't mean to depict him as a mortal God.
Anyway, exchanging ideas or secrets is different from asking for forgiveness. If you are exchanging ideas/secrets, it is probably a casual conversation, you are assuming that you are in the level of him. Try asking your friend for forgiveness if your at odds(even if he is the one who committed fault) and you will see that you are putting yourself below him and that is a sign of humility. So, you see, what pride can do.
The idea that I am trying to convey is actually more on humility. However you carry out your confessions superficially is irrelevant as long as you are sincere inside whether you do it the RCC way or do it your own way.

Imagine if God is really physically present who sits in a very grand throne having a good time with his angels and saints around. Do you think an insignificant person like us will have the guts to come forward by ourselves and say, excuse me my Lord, I have come to ask forgiveness for my sins, could you spare 5 minutes of your time with me please? or would it be more polite and proper to ask somebody else who is more closer to him so that he can ask him to entertain you or better yet, negotiate in your behalf?

I have tried confessing sins with close friends who are more sinful than I am but in an informal way, sort of exchanging secrets, havent tried confessing to a priest or a pastor cause I find it unnecessary. My point maam/sir is who said we need someone to negotiate in our behalf? a representative of some sort? more closer to him? ANd our God having a good time with his angels? excuse me? so its not proper for us to directly ask for forgiveness because God is having a good time with his angels? ganun po ba ang gusto nyong sabihin? correct me pls. Only Jesus is the mediator between God and Man. Is it written in the scriptures that we need a humanly 'negotiator' to 'negotiate' for our forgiveness? You insulting God to depict him as a mortal one.

Hehehe. If someone says "I believe in God Only to be save". Well, being save may actually implies many things like:

    Being save from eternal punishment.
Being save from eternal loneliness brought about by the absence of God (Not one with the creator).
Being save from emptiness(my interpretation of incompleteness) brought about nothing to praise and glorify everytime of your eternal life.
    etc.

And I really see nothing wrong with it.

Tingali, Pareha jud ta ug panan aw sa kinabuhi. Only that we interpreted those things we see differently.

It is really hard to argue about the existence of God.

It is like two dogs arguing each other if a color red existed or not, since both cannot see red color(according to some articles I've read). While the other dog will only believe if it sees the red color, the other dog is looking for evidence that the color red really existed, unfortunately for the second dog, it cannot present concrete evidence for the first dog to see. In the end, the only thing left for the dogs were to respect each other's beliefs and no dogfight occured. hehehehe.
