mayta inig january naa nay tax refund, but you should direct any concern to the BIR not on the company as per HR/Admin/Accounting-friend of mine AFAIK wala sa company ang anouncement... naa sa BIR if they will and ever made the final guidelines on it.... it's the BIR that will be paying it not the company thou technically sa company gikan ang money... still it is the BIR's call....

Just an opinion. I think that the tax-refund is not dependent on BIR's call, because some of the companies here in Cebu have already had tax-refund pay-outs to their employees this month. As I know, the payout is dependent on the company's initiative and proactiveness in the manner of processing this year's refund on tax.

it's kinda like this.... i'll try my best...

lately when the fare been decreased to 7.00 some driver charged it's passenger with the new fare... while some don't they say they still have to wait the effectivity which Dec. 15, why?, they waited the OFFICIAL and EFFECTIVITY, and it kinda same to the tax refund also (ME THINK) ... some company did not implemented it because of one reason (I THINK) there are no OFFICIAL BIR GUIDELINES regarding on this matter... during when i was still in ACS we already asked this question to HR and to the B.I.R. the only answer they have is ... NO OFFICIAL GUIDELINES YET... well that was last July dunno if there are guidelines been released since then, i just based my opinion from the last time when i still have tax deductions...

it's seems like the company are directed to pay 39 pesos a day starting July up to December then only @ January 2009 you will have the full xemption benefits and additional deductions under the new law.... hmmm

But I personally think that it is a sad fact that some companies tend to use delaying tactics
in giving what is rightfully for their employees.
