how to setup linksys router with aztech modem

bro ip conflic rana, kana imong globe nga modem kay ang ip ana is 192.168.1.1 nay ang linksys 192.168.1.1, so nag conflic na sila mao di mo work.. ilisi na ug ip ang linksys nimo 10.0.0.1 kana cgurado ko mo work na.. kay di na jud na sial mag conflic.

mura sakto ka bro...parehas sila ip add...mka.access rako sa aztech setup page using 192.168.1.1 but sa linksys kay dili... unsaon man pag-ilis sa ip sa ako linksys bro?

basin makatabang ni na info.. ako na g.setup ang static IP address sa ako desktop ug na portforward nasad nako ang ako aztech... para ni sa ako utorrent..

@swordfish: I can't finish the Linksys setup bro.. I get "Error 322" at the last step of the linksys installation.... the modem was set-up by a globe tech... I can surf the net with it.. but if i add my new linksys router to the system, I cant surf..

nakakita nako solution bro... sakto ka boyguapo... basin makatabang sa uban.. tan.awa ni na blog

i.reset sa imo Linksys router (plug the router. while na-ON, pislita ang reset button sa luyo for 10 seconds then release the button). then hulbuta ang power cord for 5 seconds and replug it back in. then follow the steps:

1) Connect your laptop/PC to the linksys router via RJ45 cable. [connect from the pc/laptop to ethernet port no. 1 sa linksys router, ayaw sa internet port]

2) Go to the router’s admin page via 192.168.1.1 and change the default IP to 192.168.1.2 (this is assuming that your Aztech modem’s gateway is 192.168.1.1 which is usually the case…).. [Naa dayon mogawas na window for a User name and Password, type "admin" (this is the default user name and password), then click ok..]

3) Make sure that the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 and then disable DHCP. Save the settings.

4) Connect the modem to the router via one of the LAN ports and not thru the WAN port (internet port). [gkan sa ethernet port sa aztech modem, connect it to ethernet port no. 2 sa linksys router] This is important. This makes the modem and the router bridged and they are now in 1 subnet.

5) Reboot everything from PC to router to modem. The wireless router should now be connected to the modem.

mga bro ask nyako if ever sa usa ka line sa internet connection nga broadband pwde duha ka modem, ang PC mn gud nko naguba then sayangan ko sa internet connection ky wala pa na repair ang PC. the P is in my aunt room sa taas, my room is bos, ask tko if pwde gamitan ug breaker ang phone line sa akong room nga same line sa taas sa iyahang room sa broadband internet connection, buy tako usa ka modem ky ang modem sa PC niya dili nya ipagamit sa akoa.. ask tko if ever pwde duha ka modem sa usa ka line.. what if kaha in the future mg gamit npd cya dn nka on iyang modem sa taas then mg on pud akong modem sa ako room kinsa my ma disconnect?
need help lang ky sayangan ko sa internet connection krn dri sa amo house naa koy laptop ako ta gamiton if ever...

1phoneline=1DSL line=1modem only. So dili pede duha ka modem gamiton using only 1DSL account. Pag gamit nalang ug wireless router, that way your laptop can connect to the internet using Wi-fi. Usually laptops use the G signal, so better buy a router that can support G signal or better a router with A/B/G/N signals. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

I beg to disagree about your solution.

Im not sure if AZTECH DSL60SE is a modem/router.

I hope this will help. Lets start from the scratch.

* Connect the modem to the modem (check the Internet) If yes
* Check the IP address of the computer (if the default gateway is 192.168.1.1 like you said in your post) so it is confirm that your modem and router are the same IP address so its conflict
* Connect a computer to the Linksys router and logon to the configuration page (by default Linksys has 192.168.1.1)
* Change the router IP address or LAN IP address (192.168.10.1 so they are not on the same subnet, right)
* Make sure the Internet connection setup of the router is on DHCP

Heres the connection:
* Connect an ethernet cable in the ethernet port of the modem and the other end of the ethernet cable goes to the Internet/WAN of the Linksys router.
* Turn Off the modem and the router
* After 1 minute turn On the router only and wait for 1 minute and half then turn On the router
* Check the Internet...

bro, patabang pd unta ko setup. I have an ASUS RX3041 router but I can't get the internet to work. my modem is the globelines' AZtech. I tried following the instructions, but after I changed the LAN IP add to 192.168.10.1 and disabled "The Gateway to act as DHCP server", I can no longer access the router. dli na na ko ma revert ang settings, and I end up reseting the router. Internet works fine when I bypass the router.
