    wikipedia definition of slavery (don't believe me, check Slavery - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

    Slavery (also called thralldom) is a social-economic system under which certain persons — known as slaves - are deprived of personal freedom and compelled to work.

    one might contend that the callcenter industry is a new form of slavery. it's purely an intellectual than a factual contention - but if you have had worked in a call center, you would know it to be more factual than intellectual.

    on a side note, wouldn't it be cooler to be called "thralls" as opposed to a "call center representative"? now that's labeling something/someone literally. (insert sarcastic smiley here)

    slavery is when you are forced to work for someone. call center is not slavery. Filipinos are not slaves. they do have a choice to not work for a call center company.

    i know it's being sacrastic but i'm just saying.

    haha..look at how i edited this. daghan na kaayu sarcasm kung magsinarkastic pa ko. anyway, merry christmas. make "do not be sarcastic besides im not feeding thralls" be on ur new year's resolution list.

    touche. in return, i'm just saying that the point of sarcasm is to show a falsehood with truth behind it (if binsaya pa, kanang padungog mahulog ba). i guess some people cannot fathom the idea of an intellectual discussion on intellectual slavery. oh well.

    that was just three years ago when we were trouble shooting dell pc, hardware and software and even third party all in the name of CE. (customer experience). it was harder those times but I didnt say i didnt enjoy it. hehhee. those times we still dont have remote trouble shooting. It's good then you have it going now guys.

    mao jud...nindot ug environment..way hasol..way dress code...libre food...di sad nuon kaau dako ang salary unlike other call centers but maka buhi naman... hehe! you will learn a lot of things specially sa technical side...
