    ive been to about three major call centers and i can say etel is good for a career if you are really up for it. I have lots of friends in etel and they are doing good now. we were the pioneers in cebu when etel first came here. and so far the training is good. just dont go to Dell Tech Support or you are really asking for it. You'll have pressure for breakfast lunch and dinner. I was in Dell tech support. If you can survive there you can survive any call center. It was good but I felt so abused. hehehe. all in all for newbie call center agents, dont expect too much. prove yourself first then. you'll realize that you are more capable of anything than those who always complain.

    it depends on our attitude towards work.. i think every company has its discrepancies pero sa akong tan-aw, western wats.hehe

    comment lang ko ani. . dell has a lot of accounts sa etel. dili sad tanan pressure kaau. naa mi sa dell chat run and its really easy. saun kwarta. saun promotion.

    about eTel, i think proven na gyud sila nga generous sa ilang employees. They're one of the top as far as compensation package is concerned. Pero ang downside lang, can they sustain it? Obviously not with what happened. Mao nang dapat ra gyud i-balance kay business sad baya.. unsaon man nang nice kaau imong company pero mokalit lang diay ug ka hagba.

    Relax lang mu guys, global crisis is at the corner na. We should be grateful in what we have kay karng 2009, maybe wala na jud tay work tanan.

    Hey ya'll!

    Mornin'..
    Like you guys and gals, nag trabaho sad kog Call Center, Mine is average. I'm thankful for that. But come to think of it, we are mostly on graveyard shifts or should I call "graveyard to death"?

    Think of why we have this companies here, why us? why not them instead in the first place?Think gud, before kung college pa, hala laag diri laag didto ta.. Inum diri inum didto bsag naay duty nig ka ugma deadma jud and it's ok bsag 3 hours or 4 hours ra ang sleep. But karon?E value jud nato pag ayo atong sleep. That's because our sleep is more substancial than on a day sleep.Basically speaking our job is killing us!But because of "WE CAN HANDLE PRESSURE" and "BIGGER SALARY", we commit...

    But did you know that they are exploiting us??!! In their country (AMERICA), if their shifts in on graveyard, they'll have one week OFF! for a one week graveyard shift and triple pay! Can you imagine how america exploit us?

    NOPE! I can assure you guys di mawala ang Call Center dinhi.. So you can relax with this issue,but being grateful to have this kind of career is not.

    Suggestion to fellow call center agents: Save your money and retire early and do business..If you're earning 13000 a month as what is regular rate of all companies, then save half of it! Then you'll see....You'll earn 234000 in 3 years!I think this can support something na to have a partner or investment for a good business.
