Google: Basic Photography how to use my new SLR
Portrait settings - the name speaks on its description
Landscape settings- the name speaks on its description
Night settings- the name speaks on its description
Vivid -more saturated than standard settings. It makes everything in you image more vibrant
Standard - Just standard settings, more like a default settings from the manufactures
Neutral - has lower contrast than standard settings
Night portrait - Fires two flashes and uses slower shutter speeds.
Hmm, may I ask what camera model are you using? I believe these are picture control settings. These are recommendable camera settings of camera manufactures.
I usually have my own customized settings and tweak those settings. Most of the time I PP my work so I dont have to worry about those settings at all.
