Unstable internet connection due to router or ISP?

got a problem with my connection pirmi cya mo drop-out, murag naa man gani pattern.. cge lag ga rto (request timed out) nya all of sudden ma wa na ako connection... got to reset the router pra ma ka connect nsad ko balik sa internet.... btw im using linksys BEFSR41 v2. firmware is 1.04 point something... i've readÂ* ka.c sa mga forums sa internet na maybe sa router daw kaw daghan2x man sad reklamo ani linksys.... and my ISP is Bayantel DSL...
Ask lang ta ko f anyone got any suggestions or solutions on how to solve this?

how many workstation or pc you have connected? Did you already report this to your ISP? What ip address did you ping ?

i got 9 workstation connected and reported this to my ISP a lot of tyms..... i also get a slow connection as in grabe... labi na daghan mag connect.....

try to check sa imong proxy server..try to ron anti virus, na biya virus ron na iya attack ang network cge siya broadcast... mao na mag RTO ka.... nya usa sad sa hinungdan kung hapit na maguba ang imong router/switch nag loop broadcast na siya

im using windows xp sp1 on all workstation, got a router and a 16 port cnet hub... using a firewall norton... spyware spybot search and destroy, ip's are set to static.... thats about it i think.... hope ma solve nako ni.... i'll be trying to re-format all my comp. today, maybe this would help coz they said maybe na.a daw virus lagi....... seen one man gud "w32.spybot.worm" bcn mao ni hinungdan kay the routers mga 5 - 6 months old pa....

kani na virus naa biya sad ni siya variants pareha sa TOXBOT... before nimo i-online sa internet be very sure na imo nang gi update and virus definition sa tanan nimo na pc para dili mo balik, yaw gyud ka kalimut. Kay kani na virus dili gyud ni siya mawala kung dili reformat ang hardisk nya dili sad ni pwede matangtang sa mga removal nga gi release sa mga antivirus company. kay XP man gud na OS naa man siya system restore so mo balik gihapon ang virus kung imo i-remove without reformating the hardisk.... hope nakatabang ko... if more question please PM meh... thanks

were using BEFSR41 router here.. no prob with PLDTmydsl... though there are times na madisconnect..but connect man dayon balik

same problem ra ta... cge lang putol putol ang internet connection nako... (on & off) using BEFSR41 nga router then pldtmydsl ako connection.... nalibog nako... basin mag reformat nalang sad ko ani aron masulbad as what is adviced... thnx
