ayaw i generalize tanan call center agent oi. source of income pud baya na para maka tabang sa family.
I'd like to get this statement and quote it and give it back to joshbonz who shared his sentiment on the new rules.
Ako lng, if you want the job, given na sya nga u need to embrace, understand and accept everything esp the SOP sa company sa kung asa man ka nag-work, call center man or dili. these are STANDARDS and they are there for us to have control on situations. don't take "controlling" in another context, maybe what i mean is that, naay mu-"govern" nato btaw sa atong actions and what not. kay these standards really do help companies in a lot of ways.
advise lng nako nmo, take it and make it something positive para nmo. i dn't know how you'd do it, basta kay don't make it something nega para nmo.
now if dili na ka ganahan, naa na nmo. advising a person to resign is normal if ever di na sya ganahan. but naa ra dyud na nmo joshbonz...
ay namo pag lalis maypag lutoon na ninyo ang pinaka lami na spag pinaskohan sa sykes..hehehe
i miss the purefood ham and the novellino red wine they had last year... dismayado ang uban getting the gift, mura daw nag cost cutting ang gift giving nila..(nag ayo lang ang basket, naa pay red lace to compliment)
we'll anyway.. it's better to receive still than to give, and anything that is given is much highly appreciated lang gihapon...
well i really do take this constructively.. and you're right.. SOE as what the company advocates is really emphasized here..
I do understand sad that these new ABSENTEEISM policy are rules to help govern the employee's attitude towards work and the company's 'check and balance' welfare as well... BUT the new rule they impose have some loopholes that I found out again as NON constructive in nature. Read my rant again and you know what those loopholes are (based on my experiences..)
Anyway moving forward, I am no way demeaning the HR people or the management in trying to pass and imposing these rule to their employees, I am merely pointing out that sometimes, there always some exception to the rule.
My rant is my own side of telling my personal experience only.. resignation is not an option (for now) since it would only show that I welcome defeat on my part. I never once back out from my principles..

Correct jud ka josh!
A gift is something to thank God (your God/the gods) for and in no circumstance should we complain about something that is not our right.
Pasalamat lang gihapon maskin unsa kagamay ang nadawat. Your company, Sykes, can take that away and wala moy mabuhat because prerogative na sa company. Wala sa labor code na kinahanglan manghatag ug gift packs every Christmas. Ang mo complain, nya modawat gihapon sa regalo, way batasan.
"JUST A WOMAN? Oh honey no!
I am awesome with a splash of bitch and a dash of wonderful.
ok ra ng spag na gipanghatag nila, maau nalang naa ta ikapanuno na pagkaon sa atong balay...
