My topic of Stock market thru the internet is about the Philippines Stock Exchange.[PSE]
It is fast, convenient and lesser commission rate. The traditional way is that you have to call your Broker to do a transaction.Thru the net, your Broker is a Bank. You do your transactions thru the net and manage your own portfolio by yourself.

    Stock Market Talk
    fg 11/25/2005

Â* Â* Â*Investing in the stock market is indeed risky and sometimes scary when losses become big. But it can also be rewarding and appreciative when handsome profit is achieved.

Â* Â* Â*In my determination to become a successful investor, I did a lot of research work regarding the stock market, price and trend movements, business and economy cycles,............ Over the years, I was able to arrive at profitable investment procedures based on objective and logical thinking which has made me profit in the stock market.

Â* Â* Â*Charles H. Dow, founder of THE WALLSTREET JOURNAL and inventor of the DOW JONES INDUSTRIAL AVERAGE, wrote in one of his early editorials that an investor "who will study values, and market conditions, and exercise enough patience for six men, will likely to make money in the stocks". Penned a century ago, this thought provoking investment philosophy amazed me, and I have found out that it remains as true as ever.

Â* Â* Â*Here is an excerpt to emphasize Dow's early philosophical thinking that has helped many prudent investors to profit in the stock market years later:

Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â*"... Dow knew that time itself had produced large fortunes for those who studied the market,
    Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* had the temperament to buy low when a primary bull market is in it's early stage, when good
    Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* values were available, and held on patiently as a major bull market progressed upward over the years".

Â* Â* Â*It is better to buy during the early stage of a bull market, or during severe reactions, which often interrupt a primary bull market, when prices of good quality stocks are low, because the risk involve here is far less than the risk at the top when mass psychology, rather than value, rules the trend of the market.

    Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* Â* WANNA PROFIT IN STOCK MARKET? KEEP GOING!!!

Please share to us how are you gonna time the market (even the great tatang Warren claim that its hard to time the market) & control your emotion. What is your entry & exit strategy Sir? Are you an investor or trader? A growth or value?

It's really difficult to time major tops and buttoms. I could say the safest way to invest in the stock market is thru long term investment. "Buy Good Growth Stocks during the the early stage of a primary Bull Market, or during severe reactions when prices are low and held on, say for years as the market progress upward ,and to sell only when a downward movement of disasterous proportion in indicated.
Yes, it's true . Easier said than done. But to profit in the stock market ones need consistent practice. Logic cannot rule over the emotions unless it has been trained to do so thru hard work and study.
If you have time for the market, you may trade once in a while, but for those who cannot give the market their time, my advice is that you invest in the long term.

I brought out the topic "logic cannot rule over the emotions...." because naa man ni sulti "it's hard to time the market and control your emotion".

For those who are really interested in the stock market, pls reread this line and give deep thinking to Dow's early finding on how to profit in stocks, when he wrote:

an investor "who will study VALUES and MARKET CONDITIONS, and then exercise
enough PATIENCE for six men, will likely to make money in stocks."

I am sharing with you the knowledge I gain from my research and experiences, and at the same time telling "you can become a successful investor thru your own study, reseach, and hard work, and make logical thinking into constructive actions."
