From what I've read around there will be two OVAs.

One for the Sheryl x Alto fans, another for the Ranka x Alto fans.

They're like same but not.

When Macross got turned into Robotech by those who bought the rights overseas THEY TOTALLY CHANGED THE STORY AND CHARACTERS. Hoshiz kaayo. Max and Miriya only have one kid. As Macross SEVEN ILA ANAK. O_o And mas paspas/layo na ang progression of Macross plot wise. Robotech still has Rick Hunter alive and Invid pa rin kaaway nila.
