    Default No Sharing Tab - Win XP Pro


    Naka experienced namo nga no sharing tab mo appear... if you write click a folder > properties..

    Ang tabs ana are General, Sharing, Customize.

    Sa ako General & Customize ra.. ako na gi check ang folder option enable man ang Simple Folder Sharing.

    Dli nako ka share sa network.. lolz.

    Btw im using Win Xp Pro...

    wala d i sharing inig right click nmu? bsin na disable nmu ang network sharing and security.

    e-confirm daw if na enable ang file and print sharing sa network properties..
    You can do that by clicking LAN Connection>Properties> then check in GENERAL TAB under THis conncection uses the following items.

    if you cant' find it there, you need to install.

    makita ra bya ang mga PCs sa network.. e copy paste nalang jud ang file directly to other PCs..

    na Virus imong Drive F? try to scan daw imong system. i hope it helps.

    if you tried everything.i suspect virus. i encountered the same prob before sa work place nako...or check the firewall sa pikas pc

    (View Security tab)
    Open Group Policy...
    Start | Run | Type: gpedit.msc | Click OK |
    Navigate to...
    Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer\
    Remove the Security tab
    Set to Enable or Disable.

    (Sharing Tab)
    The Sharing tab is not visible....
    Start | Run | Type: services.msc | OK |
    Scroll down to and double click: Server service |
    Set Startup type to: Automatic | Click Apply | Click the Start button |
    When it has started, click OK

    Hope they Solve this... ur problem cause from Virus..

    This is not a VIRUS.... nor related to any Network setup/settings, or Firewalls

    Windows XP default uses "Simple File Sharing" in order to changed this go to.

    1. double click My Computer or use Windows Explorer
    2. Tools > Folder Options
    3. click tab "VIEW"
    4. Unchecked the "Use simple file sharing (Recommended)"


    Just be sure you have the "File and Printer Sharing For Microsoft Networks" installed (services) found in your network informations.
