Networking/File Transfer USB to USB

Guys,
Is there a software or existing Microsoft client for networking/File transfer from a USB to USB port? I bought a Male to Male USB cable, thinking it's possible like the file transfer via Serial/Parallel printer cables, but i coudn't configure it, or it does not exist in Windows. THanks

it does exist: however you need a special data transfer cable and not the regular USB-USB cable

yep mao sad na akong hunahuna...pero sige ko pangita sa una sa akihabara ug usb to usb nga networking cable ug software wala jud ko nakit an..hehehe..maypa palit nalang ug hub unya utp cables..dah sulbad lagi problema sa networking..hehehehe

pwede ilis di nalang imo usb cable female/male para dili ka mag lisod..... daghan bitaw baligya ang uban ipa kapin lang sa mga USB FLASH DISK

this has been around at least about 3 years already hehe.

like i said dili pwede ang ordinary cable kay there is no way windows can detect the cable if cable alone. there is a special chip embedded between in the middle of the cable so that it will act as a USB bridge device. kung wala to ang chip, tugbang ra walay naka connect sa imo pc.. if imo i connect ang duha ka pc using regular/plain usb-usb cable .. kuyaw pa madaot imo system.

let me make it clear though that this is not a networking device but rather a File Transfer Utility device lang.Â* You can't network two computers using this device.

Mao gyud, nakapalit naman gud ko ato simple Male to Male usb cord, pagtanaw nako sa net, naa diay special kind nga cable, naa pay module somewhere sa tunga... ok ra sad mag flash drive2x ko pero kapoy sige ibot-taud...
Wala gyuy lain software nga pang simple male to male usb cord lang? Thanks..
