G? That means you will play D in 2nd position. Some advanced study materials use A harps. There are also more key E blues songs(A harp 2nd pos). An advanced concept 'the overblow' may be easier on the G harp but evn I don't really venture there. There is a guy who can play chromatic on the diatonic harp. Howard Levy. He recommends the G harp. He can play jazz or anything in any key. I recommend you chose in this order A, D, G, Bb, F if you want to play blues in the future. Throw in an E or B instead of Bb and F if you want to play more pop. Karon nga nalibog na ka.... unsay key imong gusto ipapalit? Lain lain presyo depende sa model. decide sa unsay key.

i'm hoping to try out celtic harmonica. what key is good for that? there's this webpage i ran into and most of the keys used in the tabs are keys D and G. although there are more G than D. but i don't really know much about celtic harmonica so..

D and G being ideal for blues is a plus. since i want to try out blues too. or is it too early to try out new genres in harmonica and new keys? i'm torn between D and G.
