May not be very accurate, you can use a tachometer connected to the negative (pulse line) of the ignition coil primary. Some third party tachometer have setting for how many cylinder your engine have, you have to set it to the correct number of cylinders.

Check out autofocus, cfg and some automotive hardware in highway Mandaue, they have several tachometer for sale.
