naa man uban nga nang-apply for supervisory position. wala na regularize so gi send balik sa ilang karaan nga teams. however, gitawgan sila after a few days, to inform them of their forced leave.

I guess it has somethin' to do with one of Obama's platforms, which is to pull out outsourcing from the Philippines. I'm not quite sure though.

may call center din sa manila ang nagkaroon nang mass termination because, their client declared bankruptcy.. pero di yung company mismo ang nag close, there were certain accounts lang..this is maybe because of the recession sa economy nang US..

the company handles research studies, in other words they conduct surveys. the most common projets they handle are political surveys. these surveys are paid for by the political parties. now that the elections are over, there's not much to survey on, and that's why no clients are approaching the company.

the recession may be a factor, but the main reason is, there's no work to do. it's not that the client pulled out because of terrible performance, it's just that they don't have any surveys for the company to conduct.

If they don't send people home, people will be sitting there doing nothing, getting paid at that.

I don't think Obama's policies have anything to do with it, he starts next year.
