Default What's the Most Dangerous Martial Arts?

    hmmmmmmmmmm

what is the most dangerous martial art? HECK! they all are! imagine getting hit by a punch from a karate paractitioner or a kick from a tai kwo do jin, or even a simple pin from an aikidoka. trust me pareho ra nang sakita!! each disicpline has its own way to render an opponent useless. be it kicks, punches, sticks or stones. but the true essence of all martial arts is not how deadly it is or how lethal it can be to a human person. it's about protecting oneself and the people close to him.

you do not become a black belt in whatever form of karate or kung fu because you want to beat up the next guy who looks at you in a queer way. You do it because you want to feel protected from that same bully who may hurt you or your family. sadly, many practitioners lose sight of this and end up being the bullies themselves. sad but true...

so you see, there is no such thing as the most dangerous martial art...only dangerous people who think they know what martial arts is.........

    Default Black Belts promotion

In most Martial Arts school, promotion to Black Belts rank are not only based on the technical skills. Attitude, emotional and psychological maturity are also considered. For the he reason that he can now, teach upon prior consent from his Sensie. Hence he will be now entitled to the rank of "1st Dan". The minimum requirement for a Black Belter in order for him to teach.
In most cases, those who'd publicly boast about their "Discipline", were most likely those who haven't fully understand the philosophy of his Discipline.

Not in all cases blade101… Those practitioners who lose sight of this, and abuse their knowledge are either egoistic and inferior individuals or undisciplined and just plain losers who wanted to get even, perhaps with the harsh experiences that these individuals may have encountered. Martial Arts itself is a discipline, a way of life, wherein a practitioner is also taught, peace, harmony, self-control (aside from self-defense in a physical level) and mastering (controlling) his emotions.

True! I Agree Persian_King73! Aside from violating the Martial Art’s creed, the practitioner who abuses his knowledge by publicly boasting (and bullying) is creating his own danger in the sense that some people (psychotic, lunatics) might test these individuals’ know-how or worse, shoot them with a gun on the back of their head, black belt or not! (no known defense for bullets. )
So might as well, it's better to be like the wise old owl…

Default What's the Most Dangerous Martial Arts?

for me all Martial Arts are Dangerous. like: kung-fu, taekwando, aikido, jodo, and etc. all of them are same. so if u say dangerous siyempre kapag ganitong art mababalian ka talaga at kung may-sakit ka pa na dinaramdam patay! kang bata! ka. so, dangerous talaga ang lahat ng martial arts lalong-lalo na ang Kung-Fu at Taichi.

I'm glad you do, In real life scenario it is practically advantageous and less dangerous on your part if he(attacker), doesn't even have the slightiest idea, as to what you are capable of in terms of self-defense. Virtually create an impression, that you're defenseless. Simply because, the moment he knows that you are a Martial Artist, he will never give you a chance for a fair game, for he already knows that he'll surely loose.
