these are the tewo ways i know, however, they are not very accurate.

1) feeling the pelvic, wide means female, narrow means male.

2) the female has a bigger head than the male.

i had 2 pairs of lovebirds, then they had 2 chicks.
but, 1 died, the others escaped all at once and only 2 came back at home and were caught again.

Thanks mga bro. Regarding sa sexing sa mga ALBS, when matured, usually female tends to be much bigger than the male. If youngs, mo base ko sa ila pelvic, or ako kapa on ang sipit nila. Ang sa female, buwag kaayo, while sa male, sikit gyud kaayo, Though sometimes naa ghapon female nga sikit cya, pero once you touch it's tip, dumpol ang sa female, while sa male, hait gyud na cya then sikit pud kaayo. Base lang pud na sa ako experience and other breeders tips. Although naa much effective way in sexing birds, and that is thru testing of blood, pero mahal man pud ni bro. And i don't know if naa ba vetmed doing this in Cebu City. So for me, ari lang lang ko sa sipit mag base. Hope I gave you a basic idea in sexing birds. Happy birding to all...

Yes bro, sa cteils mao sad usa ka basis sa pag identify sa ila gender. Lihok gyud ug sabaan ang mga males. Pero naa ko naka ila nga cockateil breeder dinha Cebu (thru text), base gihapon cya sa pag kapa sasipit bro. Then sa ako pud nabasa sa internet, ang orange patch sa cheeck sa mga cteils maka tabang pud. PAg orange kaayo that;s male then pag lighter lang, female na cya.
