naa pa ba to ang yaw yan sa taas sa mercury drug sa colon? i used to train there before. karon, i have noticed yaw yan guys practicing at abellana, sa kilid sa oval.

wala na ang yaw-yan temple ibabaw sa mercury drug... pero ingon sa ako kauban nga taga temple na padung na daw magtukod lain si master villaflores dapit daw cguro pari-an...

naa mn pud sa sanciangko, yaw-yan ardigma.... sa ardigma nko rn gapraktis...nka praktis pud ko sa lawin sauna...

mga ardigma mana kasagaran naa sa abellana nya sagulan og gamay mga former yaw-yan temple...
mga magdalo mn daw tawag nila anang ardigma sa abellana hehehe... pero mga kaila ra gihapon....

Eskrima:
In my opinion, if you want MA na practical for self defense and mas dali i-learn or i-absorb, then Eskrima for me is the thing. You are taught weapons first like stick, knife, long weapons and etc. before empty handed combat. It fits for the the street nowadays which has no rules unlike MMA which has rules. The school is located in Sto. Niño Village, Banilad at the WEKAF World Headquarters, ask lng sa guard house.

Yaw-Yan ArDigma:
Naa mn pd self defense training sa yaw-yan ardigma against sticks, knives, guns and etc. but not on a regular basis nuon. Mostly and sa ardigma is yaw-yan gyd na fighting fit for empty handed street fighting incorporated sad with MMA styles ky with grappling naman didto. Gapraktis pko rn sa ardigma but I plan to cross train with eskrima gyd. Mas mau mo-inquire gyud ka didto sa Sancianko St., luyo sa UC. Sa skeds og sa fee ky sa ako rani na remember ha.

Monthly Fee - P1,500(discounted from P3,000 regular) for 6 months
Monthly Fee - P1,000 regular fee after 6 months
Lifetime membership - P30,000(can be discounted maybe at P25,000) witn ID and shorts
Schedule of Training: MWF 3PM-5PM, 7PM-9PM

thanks a lot for the infos. actually, eskrima was my first option because of it's location and i have also been there before, but unfortunately now, my schedule won't allow me, conflict ang time. for the mean time, mangita lang sa ko ug any other time nga mofit sa akong schedule so that at least continuous ang training even if it's a different MA discipline. BJJ is the only one that would fit so far but unfortunately, im not into grappling.hehe. im more inclined to stand up fighting and basically practical street defense.
