Di ba naa na man wireless LAN na nga unit? Just use it along with your Wireless Access Point... meaning, wireless router... or did you mean going online without accessing a wireless access point? Best ask your service provider about that, ma-Smart ba or Globe or Sun...

ako naka try nku ani ang fone gi himo naku ug modem. sa smart to cya. first kay download ka sa settings after ana mo call ka sa smart customer care nga imu ipa activate imung setting nga smart internet. after ana. adto ka sa mobile networks sa imu fone i-select ang gsm and 3g network. after ana adto na sad ka sa internet settings sa imu fone. under ana kay internet profiles and settings for java. iclick nimu ang internet profiles daun select smart internet na setting. after ana i-connect daun imu fone gamit ang usb. daun mo appear mana daun sa phone kun transfer file ba imu gamiton or phone mode. choose fone mode. automatic daun na mo konek ang smart internet. maka browse na daun ka mao na ako gbuhat.

yah, he's right. i've been using p990i since nov last year. very good fon. all networks (except tnt and tm) i have activated the 3g/gprs/mms. even if u have settings, u cant have internet if the sim is not activated. internet direct thru fon.

if you have the SE CD u can also use the fon as modem. just read the manual like sum1 said. hehehe. i did it once with globe and smart when globe broadband went down for nearly a month last feb. meaning its like using smart bro or globe visibility without buying the gadgets for these. just use 3g cngal. its very ez, as long as u have act ur sim and have settings already, us SE PC Suite and the software will make its own setting and u can immediately use it.
