Here's what I think, is a good guide to choosing our next president. He/she must be someone who:
1. knows how to disagree without being disagreeable;
2. can seek compromise while holding fast to those principles that can never be compromised;
3. and someone who assumes the best in people instead of the worst
Guess who uttered those words recently.
