What is the best Pre-Med Course?

way gamit kung nagtake kas "pinakanindot" na pre-med course nya bulok diay kag utok.. magstudy rman gihapon ka sa tanan ig medicine proper..

pero motubag gihapon ko.. para nako kung as theory mas advantageous ang naka medtech.. kung sa area mas advantageous ang naka nursing..

With our current trend, BS Nursing is probably the best pre med course compared to BS Med tech, BS Bio, BS Pharmacy, BS PT, BS OT.

Firstly, Sophomore nursing students already interact with patients on their RLE compared to the sophomores of pharmacy, med tech, PT/OT, Bio students.

Second, BS Nursing graduates ( same with BS Pharmacy, BS PT, BS OT, BS Med TEch)will always have a fall-back profession compared to BS Bio graduates just in case of they weren't able to finsih med school.

Third, a physician whose pre med is BS Nursing, is most likely to have a better patient-physician and nurse-physician relationships compared to the rest.(MD=cure + Nurse=Care that would be a wholistic aspect in medical field)

Fourth, it's the doctors and the nurses who work together most of the times, so nurses may have an advantage if they want to pursue med.


ergo each premed has its advantages and disadvatages (i.e. medtech may have the advantage esp in hematology but doctoring doesnt involve looking in microscope all the time) peace ya all bros and bras hehe

1st year of med- advantage ang pt ky anatomy man... pero medtek japun ky naa man histology and physio...

2nd year of med- medtek japun ky naa microbio, immuno, para, hema, clinpath ug genpath...

3rd year- equal na tanan.. ky naa ob, surgery, internal med ug pedia...

para nako, kada lain lain man gud na pre med course has its advantage from one over the other because of the specialized skill na i.tudlo nila and ma acquire nimo on that particular course na ma gamit sa med studies.

most of the subject sa pre med kai mga subject man gud sa med 1st yr and 2nd yr.
although naa gamay variation pero trust me, parepareha ra jud na.

pero looking at it in a per subject basis, on my perception of unsay gi lisuran sa kadaghanan nako na kaila na mga med studs og mga nangahimo na og doctor karon, ang mga lisod na subject sa med according to them kai pharma, biochem, neuro, surgery internal med and ob so taking up pre med courses na naa aning mga subject na ako gi mention would be an advantage.

medtech and nursing.

concentrated kaau ang medtech sa diagnostics, which is a very good plus. esp sa blood and everything else.

nursing is holistic, dapat kaybaw jd ang nurses tanan, maski dili grabi ka extensive in some fields. and highly advantageous pud cla sa procedures, even in the OR/DR fields sad. nurses get to assist.

anyway, depende ra mn jd na sa students. hehe. just my 2 cents. ^^
