Skilled graduates are but I know that less than 90% of those I went to college with knew anything. So no, CS/IT isn't in more demand. The health care industry will always need people working for them while the tech industry can come and go.

IT has more demand than CS. However, nursing has more demand than both. There isn't enough people to cater to our health industry on a worldwide scale. Whereas IT it may vary from country to country where businesses adopt technology. In some countries where technologies drive business, IT may be in demand but CS is different. There is no thin line between a technologist and a scientist.

    IN THE CONTRARY....

in any different side to look up,
CS has greater edge on compared to the IT pepz...

anyway, IT pepz depends on what the scientist produce.. LOLZ!!!
IT pepz cant make their softwares, if they dont make use of what scientist provides... LOLZ!!!

If I understand you correctly I would say it's the other way around.. Technology won't come and go.. technology will always be around. As long as man lives their will always be new inventions, new technology but those people, the senior citizens that the nurses and other health care professionals take care of, they are the ones who will come and go because they will come in nursing homes and eventually go to their final resting place.

bottom line.. there will come a time when nursing and other health care professionals will not be as in demand like it is today unlike computer science and its allied courses which will always be in demand because technology is the trend today and will be the trend in the future.. hehe

About the comparison about the demand of IT professionals and the demand of health care professionals: Its really hard to tell just by reasoning. We would be more productive in providing answers if we cite surveys. A quick 'Googling' will do.

Technology is not dispensable in today's age and during the ages to come. And so is health, of course. I can see that time will come that technology's impact towards man's living will par the value of life itself, considering the neck-breaking pace of technological advancements in which we humans depend on. In essence, both health care professionals and the IT professionals would work directly hand-in-hand for the betterment of life: The IT folks would then be in a position to help people through life by providing novel means and tools to help people achieve their individual or social goals, while the health care folks plays a major role in helping people with their health concerns to make it a point that they would enjoy what technology has to offer in their lifetime.

As I can see it, both of these fields cant afford to detriment.
