Default Anyone know an alternative to Datablitz?

I'm seriously pissed off at Datablitz anyone know somewhere else I can get original pc games? Or more specifically, Fallout 3.

It takes forever for new games to come out in Datablitz, not to mention that when they do come out, the prices are ridiculously inflated.

How about online stores? They seem to be cheaper even they're in USD.

It depends on the game, cheap gyud ang EA Asia versions sa Datablitz maski PS3/Xbox versions, Dead Space PS3 R3 for 2.1k something? hell yes!

I've been thinking about the online stores like play-asia and the like recently, it ships in 24 hours, but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll arrive in 24 hours. Though, for the price, it could probably be worth it. Still, I'd have to get a debit card, use it to transfer funds to a paypal account and then use paypal to order.

The thing that irks me about Datablitz pricing is that, that for the first few weeks, the prices are appallingly high, the first week the ps3 version of fallout came out, it was priced at 3500, now it's dropped to around 2900+ but still well above the normal price of 2500.

    TPC?

*sigh* I just hope the game is worth the hassle, I've been a fan of the series since 1998 and I want to see if the Bethesda effort lives up to the series standards (barring the shameful PS2 spin-off)

You can't blame them. It's because of our freakin' taxes. Heck, even the iPhones here in the Philippines is twice the price of the original price, not just iphones but all those luxury items. Talkin' bout luxury taxes and all. hayzzz. saunz nlng. grabeh mangwarta noh (gobyerno/government). Well, anyway there's always Play-Asia and TPC if you can find some seller.

Not as bad as Australian prices though, almost everything there is literally double the normal price. No wonder the online retail business is thriving there.

Our customs usually add about 10% tax randomly, I've had friends who've ordered the same thing, and only a few of them were taxed. If the supposed "tax" is due to corruption, I'd probably avoid ordering anything during the Christmas season, 'tis the season for thievery.

I doubt games qualify as luxury items though. But try buying a real luxury car, 200% tax, ouch.

Taking a possible 10% tax into account, Datablitz's initial price of 3500 is still exorbitant.

Isn't TPC more on Hardware? Didn't think they would have games there too.

I have no idea about the reliability of play-asia, but it's supposedly popular, and their prices seem reasonable. They have an option for free delivery too, but I don't think it's wise to leave anything valuable in the hands of the Philippine post office, unless you really like waiting... and the package is made of adamantium. They don't even deliver it to your residence, they'll make you pick it up at the post office, charge you 35 pesos for storage, and sometimes they won't even inform you the package has arrived. But if you're a masochist, go ahead.
