EPIVIR-HBV (lamivudine) was introduced by GlaxoSmithKline in 1998 and was the first FDA-approved oral antiviral for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B (CHB). If you are known carrier of Hep B or If you know someone who had a Hep B, pls be reminded that:
hepatitis B can be transmitted from an infected mother to her baby at birth, through unprotected *** with an infected person, by sharing equipment for injecting street drugs, and by occupational contact with blood in a health-care setting. Hepatitis B is not spread through food or water or by casual contact.

correct ka bro sa fluids na gikan dili na motakod , Hepa B is from blood transfusion, sexual intercourse, oral ***, basta involve ug fluids. Comment: As a medical heath care worker, doctors like these should be very cautious in making such judgements ky di sila ginoo, diba? this is just morally speaking ha! pero professional na side, most of the times doctors will tell u wat is needed to be anticipated in a medical diagnosis especially if it goes untreated. sometimes, we get mixed up with doctors way of communicating because of possible reasons. (1) they talk too technical and way to far out to understand in our layman's term. (2) as patients, we may not hear them out loud due to our condition that impedes understanding fully ky emotionally affected na ka just thinking ur health status.
