Saw it last night... Great movie!
Something you should definitely watch on the big screen.
I'd suggest watching James Bond: Casino Royale first. In Quantum of Solace, they often refer to characters in the previous movie.
It also explains why James Bond is acting the way he is in the current movie.
There is more action in this film than the previous one. It kinda felt like Bourne Ultimatum.

I'd rate it an 8/10 for an action movie.

The reason why the movie doesn't show any similarities to the Brosnan Bond series its because they are portraying it to be more on a realistic side. Rather than stick to the fantasy side of previous Brosnan Bond Films.

i just saw the movie and it was as expected a thrilling movie. though i miss the gadgetry of bond movies of old, i appreciate that they more or less portrayed a more realistic spy agent. i like the Casino royale more by the way. the car there was superb which i really miss in this sequel.
