I suggest you get the kind of bird you want to breed. But before doing that, it's best if you do some research on their care sheets such as type of food, cage (for finches, parakeets, English Budgies and African Lovebirds, my 17x17x30" foldable cage is best for breeding a pair) and breeding requirement.
